What happens if a non removable earcups on a headset tears?

So i want to buy a headset but the ear cups are non removable so i wondered what if it tears is there no way for me to change them or anythingg?

You cry a little on the inside (depending on how much you paid)...then try to ignore it but no its there and you feel it...then you will put some tape on it, but that faux pleather feel just isnt the same.  

 

Faux leather is actually easy to keep from cracking using baby oil on it once in a while.

That's one of the reasons why I like velours pads better. lol
