USB 3.1 gen2 extension cable help

Hi. I’ve just built my PC but my front USB-C cable is to short to reach my motherboard type-c slot.  I’ve searched for hours and I can’t seem to find an extension cable (maybe I’m calling it the wrong name?). Please help.
