delidding can be dangerous, if you're set on it, just make sure to be careful.

Hello,

I have I7 6700K OC to 4.2ghz, usind noctua nh d14 cooler, artic cooler mx4  2019 thermal paste and my temps are incredible high.

As you can see in cpu-z  Vcore is 1.235v in bios. Dont know what to do.

Case is CM mystique with 120mm intake and outake fans. Thermal paste was applied 2 months ago, replaced older 6 months since temp were higher than this, dont think its bad thermal paste application.

I remowed cooler sticker so there should be no problem, IDLE are temps 38-45 (hottest core 45, others around 40.

MOBO is asus z270-a

EDIT: temp in load 95 hottest core and other cores bellow 80.

temps.png

its normal

my 10600k with a 4.8ghz oc and 1.3 voltage idles at around 37-38

yeah its a different chip and platform but its still normal

other cores below 80 is also pretty noraml

as long as its not thermal throttling you are good
