Is gpu usage suppose to be 100%?

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a rx 5600xt. When playing cod mw I get 100% gpu usage and not much cpu usage. Is this good?

yes that's good. that means the cpu is faster then the gpu which is a gpu bottleneck which is not bad compared to a cpu bottleneck. A cpu bottleneck is where the graphics card is too fast for the gpu and that looks like cpu 100% gpu 50%. A gpu bottleneck is better in my opinion because it is easier to replace the gpu to a faster one then switch out the cpu and possibly motherboard. So basically your system is doing its job

Depends. I mean ideally, you'd want to be close to 100% because that means you're actually fully utilizing the performance you paid for. However, if you're at 100%, and struggling to keep up with the frame rate or quality that you want, then that might be an indication that you need a better card. I'm not saying that's actually the case, as the 5600XT is a seriously decent card, but you're not going to do like 144fps at 1440p with it, so if that's something you're wanting, then yeah, you need a better card. It's all about what works for you, but maxing it out isn't a problem in and of itself.
