Graphics card won’t power on

My 1070 (which was transferred from my previous pc)  won’t turn on it has a white light on it above the 8 pin connector. Aside from that tho there’s no sign of life despite it working when I put it back in my old system. Everything else in the new rig is working fine but maybe it’s an issue with my x570 aorus master.

Howdy and welcome :)

 

first thought with known good GPUs on new systems is driver issues followed by power issues.  I do not know what this white light means.   Model of card could be needed.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
