$800 build

Why are you recommending something $100 over max budget?

He said he has a 700 max budget.  He lives in Belgium so that would be Euro's which would be $805.  So the correct question would be why am I trying to save him $5.  😀

But conversion rates aren’t always direct??

Where I’m based a build for $1000 should be equal to €851.55, but is more like €1200.

Gloop, you are right.  I used to travel for work and I have to say when it came to electronics the US was always cheaper than the rest of the world.  And you didn't notice that I said I knew he was from Belgium, but I really didn't know that when I posted the Paul's Hardware video! 😀  I just figured the video would give him some ideas and show him how hard it is to build a $700 unit.  If he wants to not exceed his budget then the $500 build in the video is probably a good starting point.
