Ram crash start up

ElihD

Hi guys I just bought two of this ram Xpg Spectrix D60G, Ddr4, U-Dimm, 8Gb (1X8Gb), 3600Mhz (Pc4-28800), Cl18, Non-Ecc, Rgb (Ax4U360038G16A-St60) running on a ASUS PRIME X570-P with amd 5 3 gen. And when I try to set in 3600mhz I got stuck in safe mode on the bios. I know how to install windows and a little more, that’s my level. Could you please help me? What I need to change on the bios settings to make it work. I could make it run on 3200mhz but more than that the pc restart itself at the bios a few times and then enter on safe mode.

clear the cmos.

set the soc to 1.1 and dram to 1.35, then set the frequency to 3200 with xmp/docp on. if it boots and you're ready to go.

go for 3600 with the values said above and make sure it's stable. also make sure the ram is in slot 2 and 4.

make sure they're in slot 2 and 4.

and did you clear the cmos then set the soc to 1.1 and dram to 1,35 and enable xmp with 3600?

for dram and soc it is.

go for 3600 and if it boots make sure it's stable. you can use OCCT or memtest to check.

good luck.

last ditch effort, with those values enable xmp as i said and set the fclk to 1800. if that does not work, could be a weaker imc possibly.

No that's BCLK. As I said just enable xmp and check. If that doesn't work set the FCLK, not the BCLK to 1800 if that didn't work. Possibly the imc being weak.

ah so it's set to auto, then it'll keep it at 1:1 if possible.

if you couldn't get to 3600. then you could try to tweak the timings with 3200, but for  a causal user, it doesn't make a huge difference.
