Using an old dell monitor as a secondary, I need help

5eanDy

Soooo I just found an old monitor at my grandmas house, when I plug the power cord in, the logo appears and has this dvd bluray bouncy thing in it

When I hook it upnto my gpu using vga, the screen justs goes black. I restarted my pc and the bios actually got into that old monitor, I opened the bios and its actually working. Then I saved and exit, but no windows pops up, it only pops up on my primary monitor. Windows and devicae manager cant regcognize this, but my nvidia panel reads it as analog panel, but I cant seem to check mark it

I need help, this monitor would be useful for my school and editing THANKS

If the monitor is connected, go into the display settings in windows or GPU control panel and lower the resolution. Maybe this helps. If possible check the monitors specs and the max supported resolution. As you didn't name a specific model i can't do that for you.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
