Aorus RX5700XT Produces really loud sound while fan is on until loading of windows

ArthurMorgan

Hello guys, I'm new to Radeon and using Aorus RX 5700XT. The GPU produces really loud sound after booting and until loading of windows. What config do I need to configure? Thanks

Loud noise being the fans? If so, that's just it turning on and loading the fan controls. All of my GPUs fans turn on with Max fan speed, until I'm past the bios screen, where they turn off and go silent.

yep that's exactly what's happening. is it normal? Can I configure it to off fan when loading?

Afaik you can't really do anything about it. If it's only until the controls are loaded and not permanent it shouldn't be a problem to worry about.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
