You're not gonna get anywhere with that budget in Australia.

That'll get you something on the used market, look through gumtree you'll find some deals if you go for a drive.

Our used online market is kind of pricey though, I usually sell my old hardware online for easily 20-30% more than other avenues

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige

Australia pricing is quite wack, I recommend watching Tech YES City on youtube as he is a fellow Aussie and shows lots of good deals and bargain hunts

The best you can do is try to get a secondhand system and spend that money on a gpu and some ram/storage

This is the best youll get brand new and itll be low 1080p / mid 720p gaming, this is by literally sorting on cheapest price on pcpartpicker, so doesnt factor in the price from one retailer or shipping

This would also be decent for 1080p gaming

Best you buy a USED SFF DellBox with an i7 3770-4790, 16GB DDR3, SSD+HDD and a Brand New Warrantied GTX1650 SFF to go into it.
$200-250AUD for the Dellbox (Requires HUNTING around for the RIGHT pick) otherwise expect $250-300 for the complete i7/16GB setup

$269 AUD (PCCG) for the GTX1650 SFF

All the USED markets in Australia are FLOODED with i5+GTX/RX machines and all these machines are quite bad buys with being thread limited in most games where the i7 holds up quite strong. 4c8t, 16GB, SSD + GPU

$500-600

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I mean you could but I wouldn't really call it a good experience. 1tb PS4 Pro is roughly $550au is that's a comparison.

No. Just, NO. You're recommending a GTX 1050 in 2020 with its hideously bad software support, a disgustingly slow mechanical hard drive for the price of an SSD, and a slow APU in dGPU territory.

And worst of all, that fire hazard PSU.

Remember to quote people so they see your responses.

Also, a $550 budget is okay. You can build a very decent gaming PC for that much money.
