Can the Asus rear I/O cover be removed?

Yup, it is removeable.

I'm building an ITX system in a custom case and plan on using the ASUS ROG STRIX B360-I GAMING motherboard, the only problem is that the rear I/O cover might interfere with the case clearance so I'd like to know if it's removable? I can see 2 screws underneath on images so I presume they'd be for removing the I/O cover? I've circles the screws on the image below.
