Offline gaming

I recently moved to a house that is off the beaten path enough that I don't have a hard line internet connection(verizon 4g woopy doo). So no Apex Legends for me. What is everyone's favorite off line, or non ping dependent games?

Ive said it before, and I’ll say it again: The Witcher 3. Easily over 100 hours of content.

Also, over the past few days I’ve been enjoying Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Fun tactical shooter.

My words of advice:

Don't buy Cherry Browns.

Don't play Overwatch. I've hate the game yet I play it every day.

This is a hard one especially if you can't download massive games.

I have recently been playing the dishonored series and I enjoyed the first and second game a lot. I have also played the southpark games. I'm not sure how well Steam will play with a 4G connection for its DRM. Maybe grab stuff off of GoG?

AMD Ryzen 3950x under a Noctua D15S, 32 Gb G Skill FlareX 3200 DDR4 running at 3200 CL14, Gigabyte Aorus Pro 570 Wifi, Gigabyte 2070 Super hooked to a Dell U2718Q 4k HDR monitor & an Acer 1440p 144hz IPS panel of some kind, an Inland 1 TB M.2 PCIE 4 main drive, a Samsung NVME M.2 250Gb, WD Blue 500Gb  and 1 TB SSDs, Corsair RMX750, Rainbows and butterflies...

Gotta think through each component decision
Building the ultimate PC is my vision
Tweaking BIOS to apps to disk utilities
Construct this beast to the best of my abilities

[Verse 1]
Buy off the shelf? Yo I roll my own
Customized specs are the ultimate goal
Liquid cooled from the top to the flo'
Gotta keep that heat down, yo that power is raw

First the CPU, that's the brain of the beast
Overclocked, multicore, latest released
It powers all things with the greatest of ease
Crankin' up overpowered clock speeds

Next up comes the Random Access Memory
Yo, minimum 64 Gig, invest heavily
Choose a named brand, it's freakin' pedigree
You'll notice the change in performance incredibly

"Yo I got these games, where I gonna store them?"

Solid State Disks fool, I just told ya
Terabytes minimum, I'm talking premium
Space to spare, these disks you know I'm fillin' 'em

[Chorus]
Gotta think through each component decision
Building the ultimate PC is my vision
Tweaking BIOS to apps to disk utilities
Construct this beast to the best of my abilities

[Verse 2]
Y'know great graphics don't come for free
For my GPU the RAM has gotta be
Double data rate type five synchronous
Yo, I told ya that this stuff was serious

Whole thing cooled with external water system
If there were better choices, yo I musta missed 'em
Fill up the case up with some LED's
Something obnoxious: red, pink or green

[Chorus]
Gotta think through each component decision
Building the ultimate PC is my vision
Tweaking BIOS to apps to disk utilities
Construct this beast to the best of my abilities

Isn't RDR2 pretty GPU intensive? I'll be running off a R5 3400G, with no GPU, so that might be a non starter for me.

Yeah it is I run it on the lowest settings @ 1440p in order to get 100 fps or so (RTX 2080)

EuroTruck Simulator 2 is a beautiful game and is shockingly well optimized. Works well on Fermi cards for god sakes.

Left 4 Dead 2 would probably be on my list too.

Fair enough.

There are plenty of FP shooters / fantasy games that works wonders offline as well, but I reckon you already have played those.
