Good budget motherboards?

I'm looking for a new motherboard and CPU on a budget of around £150, I have 16gb of ecc ddr3 I'd like to reuse that were on my x79 setup, should I stay with x79 or move to something else? The board seems to have died after much trouble shooting the board is most likely dead, is buying into another x79 board not worth while or look at something newer?

You won't get anything new I'm pretty sure

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help

Yeah that's fine, just wondering if buying a new x79 board is worth it since they hold their value well still or just buy into something newer

I'd move on to something newer. I'd save up a little more for some DDR4, Ryzen 3 3100/3300X and a B450 Tomahawk Max

Current System: Ryzen 7 3700X, Noctua NH L12 Ghost S1 Edition, 32GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz, MAG B550i Gaming Edge, 1TB WD SN550 NVME, SF750, RTX 3080 Founders Edition, Louqe Ghost S1
