Is there a way to get Windows 10 from my laptop onto a new dekstop?

I currently have a Dell laptop with Windows 10 Home. I'm wondering if there would be a way for me to get the product key, or find some way to get windows from my laptop onto my new desktop that I'm building, instead of having to pay for a whole new copy of it?

Where can I get a cheap key? And is that necessarily a good idea?

I have got 5 keys from reddit Software Swap (W10 Pro x64 licence for 40eur) and I never had any issues with them for years. That said, you don't know exactly how reliable the seller may be, personally I had no issues yet.

i use the £3 keys from ebay, windows 1o pro delivered in seconds!

Also, you insert a product key when installing windows right? Instead of downloading something from ebay or amazon or reddit or whatever. Just want to make sure.

Do it after it installs directly in the Wimdows. 

 

You don't download anything, you will just get the key. From reddit I got the key in a personal message.
