I have 3600MHz RAM on a B550 AORUS ELITE motherboard, and despite it saying 3600MHz in BIOS screen it says 2666MHz in Windows.

It boot loops 3-4 times after saving XMP.

What can I do?

Task Manager or CPU-Z?

Don't buy Cherry Browns.

Don't play Overwatch. I've hate the game yet I play it every day.

Wireless > Lighter Mice

Silence > Temps for Coolers

Get a good PSU

Are you using XMP 1 or XMP 2 (1 would be better for stability)

There's only 1 XMP option.

Also the same RAM works fine on 3600MHz  another identical board.

use something like cpu-z or hwinfo and check the clock speeds, if they are set to 2666, set the soc to 1.1 and dram to 1.35 and then try 3200, if that boots and it's stable, go for 3600.

Fun Fact: The Meshify c is the best case to ever exist.

It boots fine on 3200, but boot loops on 3600.

Also check for BIOS updates, most B550 boards had one in july. That may improve memory support.

yea then set the soc to 1.1 and dram to 1.35 and try 3600 with xmp/docp on.

also make sure they're in slot 2 and 4.

Try 1.4v DRAM voltage.

I don't think it will work as it runs at 3600MHz on my other identical board without the BIOS update.

Would having them in slots 1 and 3 make any difference? 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 both have dual channel.
