Is the official website info always true?

the official website only lists the maximum of 240GB, but for someone who has the same SSD but 480GB/960GB. Does that mean it won't support more than the advertised capacity? it cant be, right?and also back to my question, Is the official website info always true??

QVLs are not exhaustive. They just show which components have actually been tested and verified. All this means is that the higher capacities haven't been tested on this particular motherboard, but that doesn't mean they won't work.
