PC randomly turns on in the middle of the night if it's in sleep

Ashley MLP Fangirl

ok so i've been dealing with this issue for a long time and i'm finally sick of it. if i put my pc in sleep mode (standby) or sometimes even hibernate it powers on in the middle of the night.

i have all the "wake by insert settting" stuff disabled in the bios, so that's not the problem. it does it when i'm either running stable windows or insider previews so that's not the problem either, i'm not running anything on the network that would try to access it and even if i did that option is disabled in bios...

specs:

Asus Z370-P

Core i3 8100

GTX 690

16GB Ram (XMP is off, running at 2133)

250GB 850 EVO

since i recently swapped out the gpu and disabled XMP all other issues i was having went away, this is the only problem that remains and it's really frustrating, since i usually never shut down. i put the pc in either sleep or hibernate and i normally only reboot for updates, so having it power up randomly all the time and waking me up is really annoying.

Can't say this was the answer but believe it or not my mouse was causing it for me, try removing your mouse for the night and see what happens

you don't need to quote original posters, since they get notifications on their posts by default.

By quote they mean the person and not their post. Like if I want to quote the original poster, I'll do

@Ashley xD

Also I had the same problem. It was the mouse for me as well.
