Just found a open box deal

I just founf a open boz deal and it is the MSI X570 MPG Gaming Plus for 140$ instead of 175$, is that a good deal, I was going to get the Tomahawk Max for my pc, but this is only 15 bucks more, and which motherboard is better??

the board is simply terrible and is not worth the 140 bucks imo.

i would say the tomahawk honestly, it can handle a 3900x and this struggles with it. 

granted you're powering a 6 core, which this board will be more than enough for, it's just not really a good board.

Well, no simply because the MSI X570 MPG Gaming Plus is a giant dumpster fire. You're much better off with the Tomahawk.

 

Pro tip: there's sometimes a reason why it's open box...

Get a tomahawk. There's a reason it's the go to recommendation for a b450 board. And the b550 tomahawk is a beast too.
