Best budget gaming CPU?

Hello everyone, I am not new here, however, this is the first time I have posted on the vlog. I had a nice system at one point, but I sold it because I needed the money, and I wanted to start over and build a new system. But at the moment, I am trying to build a PC that can record, edit, and game. I personally play a lot of Modern Warfare, and Warzone here and there. And I know the recommended CPU for Warzone is the Intel Core i5-2500K, but I want to make sure I have at least 8 threads so I can still record, and do multi-tasking. At the moment, I have a Intel Core i5-3470, my idea was to upgrade to the Intel Core i7-3770, I believe it's a lot more powerful, there is the option for the K variant, but I have a Dell OEM motherboard anyway, so I don't really have a reason. And I from what I know it's a pretty decent CPU. And I know I do not need an 8th, or 9th generation CPU to game, and record. Since even my 3470 is even doing fine. I have hiccups here and there, and I honestly want a bit more FPS since I have a AOC 144Hz display, and a GTX 1060 6GB. I know that sounds like a weird combo but it's a hard thing to explain. I also run 2 1080p displays, so I am not sure if that would bottleneck the CPU even if the secondary monitor isn't doing anything. I would like to start uploading on YouTube as well, I have quite a few videos already, but I would like to get back into the habbit. Hopefully I can get some recommendations. The i7-3770 I found on eBay is only $100, wondering if it was worth it or not.

Thanks ahead of time.

Thanks,

I wouldn't spend more money on that platform. The 3770 isn't worth $100.

Save up for a Ryzen 5 3600 and a cheap motherboard.

I would say Ryzen 3 3300x, but they cost almost as much.

You can kit out a 3600 + motherboard + 16gb for around $300

The 3770 is certainly better than your i5, since 4threaded CPUs can really struggle doing anything more than gaming only.

It will be worthwile if you dont want to upgrade your entire platform to something like a Ryzen 3600.
