Running chrome os on a Windows Pc by doing a hard drive swap.

My high school is requiring me to get a Chromebook for school. They said something about having to register it so idk what that means. But chromebooks are very underwhelming and make the Windows user inside of me cringe. If I were to do a hard drive transplant with the chrome os into a normal windows pc, would it run? Or is it locked to the computer?

Build:

Intel Core I7 6700k (clocked to 4.6ghz)

Patriot Viper 3000mhz ddr4

ASUS maximus 8 hero (I hate this mobo)

Evga gtx 1080 superclocked

250GB Samsung 850 evo

2tb WD Black 7200rpm

Ek watercooling kit a240g with 360 expansion pack

Primochill Vue Red fluid

Corsair Graphite 600t (white)

You thought "Gee, Donald Trump sure has a great build!"

Any PC can run chrome os I'm pretty sure just add another drive or dual boot

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help
