All Rounder New Rig

Budget (including currency): ~$1200 USD

Hey all, I'm building a computer for a friend to replace an old laptop that's dying, the goal is an all rounder PC that's capable of gaming, video editing, streaming, digital art (both 2D and CAD) and will last a decent while, or is easily upgraded.

So far I've built this list:

Any input on better options or parts to avoid would be appreciated, looking to buy it within the week.

seems like a good build, could easily cut down the wattage on the psu to save some money. also, you can get a windows 10 pro key on ebay for 5$, no need to spend 100$ on it.

I would swap the 1660 ti for a Radeon 5600xt unless you need the encoder

These are overall better lists.

@Ishotwabbit those two look great and if you want you can save money by using the surprisingly good stock cooler with the 3700X
