My budget is 600 dollars, what do you think is my best option? From Budget, Performance, and just general reputation. here are my PC Specs:

CPU: Intel Core I7 6700k 4 ghz Quad Core Processor

Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

RAM: 16 GB Corsair DDR4 3000

Storage: 1 TB Crucial NVME SSD

PSU: 600W EVGA

Current card: 1050 TI

Please let me know which would be best with this build. I have a a mid tower case so space isn't too much of a problem.

You should wait two months for next generation GPUs to launch as you will get much better price / perf.

@BlueScope819 so I can see your post

I think you should wait a little bit to build a pc bc of the higher prices right now. They have gotten alot better in the past weeks but they are still high, for example look at the $300 tier of the 2019 buyers guide linus did. I remeber two weeks ago the price was up to $450 and it is now $365. This build was planned over 7 months ago and by this time the price should be somewhere in the mid $200's range not more expensive than it was.

Take my advice with caution. I could be wrong.

Hi how is your day there is not much down here so I recommend you return back to the post. O you are still here, um well then you can read down below

I am using a chromebook and most of this platform is using windows that means I am outnumbered :/. I hope to join the windows clan later this year by building a pc. Lets just hope prices are normal by then. If they are not, well I do not know what I will do. Okay well on to the posting.

6700k is fast 4/8.  It may or may not need to be updated.  I’ve got a 4770k that was a bit overmatched by a 5700xt in some games.  I’m running a 580 on it atm which is less than it is capable of.  Your cpu is faster than mine.

I just watched a “Moore’s law is dead” where he implied that through 2021 there might be three new gpu releases instead of 2.  An 8mm amphere with a 30-40% speed boost, big Navi with a 40% speed boost and then 7mm amphere with 40-50%. Rumors are just that though.  The amphere release in September does look like it’s going to happen though

a 2080 ti should be worth about 500usd in 2 months lol, even then i'd look at the new cards first, with a 6700k i'd do gpu first then cpu later.
