Which is best for me (Graphic's card wise)

B1zzy

My budget is 600 dollars, what do you think is my best option? From Budget, Performance, and just general reputation. here are my PC Specs:

CPU: Intel Core I7 6700k 4 ghz Quad Core Processor

Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

RAM: 16 GB Corsair DDR4 3000

Storage: 1 TB Crucial NVME SSD

PSU: 600W EVGA

Current card: 1050 TI

Please let me know which would be best with this build. I have a a mid tower case so space isn't too much of a problem.

You should wait two months for next generation GPUs to launch as you will get much better price / perf.

I think you should wait a little bit to build a pc bc of the higher prices right now. They have gotten alot better in the past weeks but they are still high, for example look at the $300 tier of the 2019 buyers guide linus did. I remeber two weeks ago the price was up to $450 and it is now $365. This build was planned over 7 months ago and by this time the price should be somewhere in the mid $200's range not more expensive than it was.

WARNING!! THE THINGS I SAY ARE BASED OFF EXPERIENCE AND MIGHT NOT BE TOTALLY ACCURATE!!

6700k is fast 4/8.  It may or may not need to be updated.  I’ve got a 4770k that was a bit overmatched by a 5700xt in some games.  I’m running a 580 on it atm which is less than it is capable of.  Your cpu is faster than mine.

I just watched a “Moore’s law is dead” where he implied that through 2021 there might be three new gpu releases instead of 2.  An 8mm amphere with a 30-40% speed boost, big Navi with a 40% speed boost and then 7mm amphere with 40-50%. Rumors are just that though.  The amphere release in September does look like it’s going to happen though

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

a 2080 ti should be worth about 500usd in 2 months lol, even then i'd look at the new cards first, with a 6700k i'd do gpu first then cpu later.
