So which is the better option with the scythe fuma2

if youre streaming and editing, 3700x

if purely gaming 10700

even if you went with the 3700x, youll get a pretty good gaming experience, even though its 10-15 fps weaker than the 10700 (in benchmarks with a 2080ti)

Asrock Z490M itx/ac + i7 10700K $872.00 sgd

Gigabyte Aorus B550I Pro AX + Ryzen R7 3700X $872.00 sgd

Both combo same priced which is the better value?

Use : flight/driving simulation/games AAA/Streaming/Emulator Games.

Silent Cerberus - Fractal Design Core500,Ryzen R7 3700x,Scythe Fuma 2,Gigabyte Aorus B550i Pro AX,Crucial Ballistix Elite 3200mhz cl16 16gb,Adata XPG SX8200 nvme 512gb m.2 ssd,Lexar NS100 1tb ssd,Red Dragon RX5700 8gb(bio flashed 5700xt),Corsair SF600 SFX 600w 80+ platinum F-Modular.

Hades - dO.Ob Look into my eyes and see the dark eternal abyss that is your soul and pay for your hidden sins.

Cerberus - the hell hound that guards the gates of hell. Once you enter you'll never escape.

if ti were purely gaming, would have gone with the 10700k (remember, for intel you will almost definitely have to buy an aftermarket cooler)

if it were value, AMD no doubt. moreover you said you'd be streaming.

AMD should do better :)

😕

The stock cooler for the 10700k cannot cool it so for sure add extra for a decent cooler onto the intel price. Bit odd too that the price for the intel is the same as the amd.

Can't afford the rtx 2080 ti.... Too expensive ($1999 sgd) we're going rtx 2080 super ($1028 sgd)

thats also amazing!

BUT, have you bought these components yet? coz if you have the budget for a 3700x and a 2080super, you should totally wait till mid september for new gpus and ryzen cpus to release. the performance you will get for the same amount of money youre spending will be massive! for example the new gen 3070 is expected to thrash 2080ti performance, for the same cost of a 2070.

😕

10-15 fps

Depends on the res. on 1080p yes. on 1440p around 5-10%% difference. on 4k 1-3% if that.

maybe consider something cheap, like a rx570 (used or new) as a filler for now, and then get the new gen gpu while putting the 570 in a 2nd pc?
