hello

as mechanical engineering student I want an laptop . is CUDA core required for GPU acceleration (matlab etc...) and if it is can I use GTX 1650 ? I heard that all Nvidia graphics cards after 2008 do have cuda cores but I don't see GTX1650 listed in nvidia cuda enabled list

laptop I found is dell inspiron 15 7501

That laptop is EXTREMELY shit. Do NOT buy it. Look at the Acer Nitro 5 or Lenovo Legion 5 with a Ryzen 5 4600H and 1650 Ti

First things first, the 1650 and 1650 super are very different. If you are looking at laptop models with that in them, keep it in mind, for better performance.

Second, if it has cuda cores, it should absolutely work with cuda acceleration. Even the lowly GT cards are capable of it.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
