That is a wide angle problem, not rolling shutter.

 

You can fix it by applying lens correction, i don't know if imovie has it tho.

I am trying to film a piano from the top down. I am having a problem; the piano appears curved and I can't fix it! I've tried fix rolling shutter in iMovie, but nothing happens. I am using a Canon PowerShot Elph 500 HS.

your going to need to zoom in till it doesn't distort

You’re seeing what’s called Barrel Distortion. Most zoom lenses, some prime lenses  have noticeable amounts of it pre-correction.

 

the opposite effect is called pincushion distortion, where objects flare out towards the corners of the frame.

 

your best solution is to get higher, and zoom in. This will flatten and correct your perspective, and help correct for some of those lens distortions. 
 

buying a wide-angle adapter or a wide angle lens, is not the answer for your scenario. Climb into the rafters, dude!
