HELP Extremely Long boot times after installing new GPU?

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

I recently upgraded from a 970 to a 5600 xt red dragon and after doing so I am facing boot times of almost 2 minutes compared to the 10 - 15 seconds I had before. I have removed all the old nvidia drivers, installed the new amd drivers, the card is flashed to the latest bios and so it my motherboard. Before i installed the gpu I could boot up in 15 seconds but now it takes ages and stays on the post screen for ages before finally loading into windows. I have tried with both ultra fast boot and launch CSM on and off but still there is not difference. Anyone know what's going on?

Did you uninstall the drivers via DDU or did you just delete the folder and call it "uninstalled"?

Try disable ULPS.
