by low profile, we're talking about 18.3mm tall sticks. Those are exceedingly rare for DDR4, leading to high price.

Oh, I was looking at my country's website (Singapore)

It's like low profile is a premium....

It also depends on the sales, too.

Like right now, for me, Newegg Canada is selling a kit of 3200MHz 16GB G.skill RGB Trident for 118$, while the "low profile" equivalent Corsair LPX is 122$.

But the normal price for the Trident is closer to 140$.

That said, if you truly need super low profile RAM... You might want to choose RAM without a heatspreader. They operate at a higher cas (22 on the cheaper side) than memory with a heatspreader, but it's a sacrifice that might be worth if you really need the space.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3600 / GPU: Radeon HD7970 GHz 3GB(upgrade pending) / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

Yeah thanks. But me like it black so I guess I'll have to pay the premium. As black as my soul...
