It seems to have a better GPU and CPU but what was the age of the first you posted?

Here's the site

The ideal pad if you want slim portability and less power and newer and the ROG if you want more power and some age and a little heavy stuff

I see, well I don't mind if I carry a heavy laptop, I just want a laptop that won't die whenever I game or do homework, I just searched for the cpu benchmarks then placed each components there, I see that the i5-9300H is 5% better than the i7-7700HQ

but then I'm guessing the 4Gb GTX1050 is better than the 3Gb

what would you take? better cpu or gpu?

not gonna lie that I do game a lot, should I take the gpu then?

I'm currently on a 1060 3GB desktop GPU and runs gta on high setting really well if you get the right config, but the problem is it's hard to know if the ROG one would break

But got with the first one for portability and reliability, and the ROG one for power and yeah power (I have a 2013 laptop that still runs they don't tend to break if you take care)

Don't get any of them if you want to save your back and go a full day without charging.

I'd look at a used Thinkpad.

Specs wise L340 is slightly better, however it only supports single channel RAM. I wouldn't choose 3 of them tbh
