Workstation Build - Architecture

ebitda

Budget (including currency): $2,500 AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: ArchiCAD, Photoshop, various other 3-D modelling & architecture related programs

Other details: Hi guys! I am currently putting together a build for a friend who works in architecture. He does not play any games and the build is purely for work purposes. The main gripe we have is deciding on between an RTX series card such as the 2070 super, or to go with a Quadro. He has already purchased the 3800x as there was a good deal for it. I would love to hear some feedback regarding the build! Here is the link:https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/yD4Mk6

Many thanks!

Looks good to me! Of course, if the budget allows for a quadro that would be better but they are massively more expensive and a 2070 super will still get the job done. I would get a normal dark rock 4 instead of the slim for slightly better cooling but other than that looks nice.

Don't really know whether you need Quadro or not, but otherwise all your parts look very good. Could get away with a 650W unit if it's cheaper, but the RMx line is a good choice
