What Are Your thoughts on this ~£1000 PC?

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

Budget (including currency): £1000

Country: Uk

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games, some recording/editing and some CAD

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I've already got a keyboard and mouse from my original computer (Alienware Alpha) So i dont need a new one of them. What are your thoughts on these parts?

If possible, I'd get AOC 24G2U instead, being IPS and all...

C24G1 is not a bad VA though.

... but I'm no expert

^ this, but with a 5600XT variant that comes with the 14Gbps memory vBIOS flashed onto it out of the box, like the Sapphire Pulse or Powercolor Red Dragon. Otherwise, OP would need to manually flash the correct vBIOS onto the GPU to get the most performance out of it.

Other than that, it's superior in every way to OP's original build.
