Can you connect other speakers to the z906 ?

While you have this kind of output, so it should be possible to use other  speakers, like JBL , Bose, isn't that right?

Not really. It has about 65 Watts output (probably it's still not accurate, but marketing gibberish - more like sum of all 4 speakers) and is basically designed for speakers that is sold with. Even speakers connectors are designed for low power thin cables.

If you want seriously improve your sound quality and thinking about good speakers, do not use Logitech toys. Good amplifier without speakers mostly costs more than your whole set (for example - stereo amplifier Yamaha A-S301, which is their lowest model now, cost about 300$).

Don't let me wrong, your set is good for it's price range, but it's dead end. You can use it or change it. It's not something you may upgrade.

To answer your question, absolutely you CAN connect other speakers to the 906, the system is 500WRMS (not 65W like homeap5 claims) so it shouldn't have much trouble powering small to medium sized standalone speakers. Whether or not it will sound good, I don't know but you certainly can connect them.

Really, dig deeper and read detailed spec of that "amplifier". 500W? Lol. Do you saw how amplifiers of that power looks like?

(Left/Right: 62 watts RMS x 2)

They just sum all speakers and that is how they get that 500W.

Normal producers do not wrote in specifications total power. Producers wrote something like "2 x 160 Watts / 4 ohms", not "320 Watts".

depends on how much power per channel the thing can produce and how much power the speakers need in relation. so you can depending on the power provided but if you are looking to drop serious cash on speakers I would invest in at least a used reciever with a decent amp you can probably sell the g 906 to get one

You can hook up any regular speakers to that. Though you'll want to check the specs (RMS) for power for each channel, and find speakers that match well.

But finding ones that'll sound decent because of how low powered the system is? That'll be a challenge.
