Heat and power usage, gtx970 vs rx570 ?

both oc, afterburner numbers below

 

Msi gtx970 gaming, power +10 core +120, mem +495, temp 73-85C

 

sapphire nitro rx570 4gb, power +20 , core 1425, mem +250, temp 62-75C

 

currently 970 is in my main rig, with some coil whine..

Temps can be different. Depends on the airflow. What type of case etc. There are many factors to affect thermals.

Yea still it can be different. Ambient temps etc. 

Either way as I said. There are many factors that can change temps.

under 85 is still okay.

you can boost the fan speed to get lower temp at the expense of higher noise.

edit the fan curve full speed at 75c.
