Scan document into editable text?

So I am looking around, for some free program for my phone, tablet, or PC. Is there something that will scan say...my grocery list, and then make it into editable text that I could add to or remove later?

I was about to say Office Lens but it can't do OCR unfortunately. You can find plenty of free OCR. apps from the App Store or Google Play. Here's one I just downloaded which is free but ad subsidized.

 

Just make the necessary edits afterwards because OCR apps tend to be hit or miss

Ads are not a problem for me. Gotta love AdGuard DNS! And thank you for getting back to me.
