Which case shld I choose?

I need a case w gd airflow but idk what case to choose. Currently im stuck between the nzxt H510, Meshify C n P400A. I am willing to spend ard 100-150 SGD. System has ryzen 5 3600 n rtx 2060 ko ultra.

Can't go wrong with the P400A or Meshify C. Both are fantastic cases. I'm partial to the P400 as I own two of them.

Comes down to preference really, I LOVE my Meshify C, best case of 10+ I have owned over just the last couple years. The P400A is also great, the digital version comes with nice RGB fans which is a bonus. But I'd probably get the cheaper of the two right now, I think the P400A has gone up a lot in price and is hard to find. 

 

Other cases to consider are the Corsair 220T Airflow and the Cooler Master TD500 Mesh

It's one of the few things on my build that I have no desire to change and previously I would get a new case at least 1-2 times a year, so that says a lot.

I don't understand why people recommend the mesh C to this day, as the performance is quite lackluster. The TD500, p400a, and the 500dx are better from the factory.

a good 5 degree improvement over the Meshify C can be had by getting a td500 or a 500DX, while kept bone stock

Because when you add an extra fan or two, it performs as good as the rest, while still maintaining objectively better build quality, more optimized space efficiency and (aesthetic preferences here)

It's an option. It's not #1 case every and everyone should buy it.

Yeah, basically, if you already have some case fans lying around, the Meshify C would be a good option, but if you are starting from scratch, I would get a Pure Base DX or P400A (Digital or normal)

Hmm, yes, I don't know about the validity of your build quality claim, as I've never seen the Mesh C, but can I ask you where you got that from (personal experience, review, etc). Also, about the space efficiency thing, the 500DX is actually a pretty good case to build in, and comes with more drive bays, I believe. Again, I can't argue with your personal aesthetic preference. Also, doesn't the 500DX have greater internal volume? I'm not too sure, hence the question to the all-knowing Mod

I've worked with the Define C and Define C Mini, which are the same case but have a different front panel and sound dampening foam on the rear panel. All other tooling in the case is the same. I have not personally had experience with the P400 specifically, however I've watched many reviewers who have used both, and Build quality is almost always highlighted for the Define/Meshify C while being rarely mention in the P400 series (if anything, noted as "less than average especially by GN who generally isnt as build quality focused in their reviews unless extremely bad like the H500P original). I actually really like the P300/P300A for similar reason, while it's build quality isnt as hifgh as the Meshify C, in it's price bracket it's often much better than other similarly prices cases (NR600) however I've never worked with either of these cases directly so this is only based on visual inspection of photos/videos and watching reviews on both. 

 

The 500DX does have a lot more internal space, mostly due to the case being longer. The only case in this ATX mid tower category that I know with less internal volume is the Corsair 220T, which can only hold a 300mm long GPU max with the included front fans installed (compared to the Meshify C's 315mm). The 500DX does offer good fans, some RGB accents and nice features like the front panel using gold pin contacts instead of a wire for easy maintenance, and IMO is one of the best sub 100$ airflow cases to launch within the last calendar year. However, it's not my job as a someone who recommends cases to tell someone which case is best, it's to give them a list of some of the best cases available and let them form their own opinions and decisions about them.

of course, I did overshoot it by a fair amount, eh? It' probably got to do something with my day. Anyway, thanks for the build quality info. Never actually touched a fractal case (not because of any bias, it's just that I never really got the chance to do it)

Well, OP, you got another option now. There's the Lian Li Lancool II Mesh that released today for $90+$11 shipping (so $101) on Newegg and it's one of the best overall airflow cases out there.

 

Edit: Forgot OP was from Singapore, but still, for those reading this, the Lancool II Mesh is a good option to consider now.

The 500DX got 3 stock fans while the Meshify C only got 2.

It's pretty biased to compare their thermal performance and airflow by this chart because that one extra fan is obviously the reason for the temperature difference.

Uhm, if you saw the posts at that time closely, you'd see that the 500dx and the mesh C cost the same. If they cost the same, they deserve to be compared to each other
