Rtx 2080 having a tough time encoding

Hi, when I use obs and record Warzone it has a hard time encoding (for recording) the video.  My game runs amazingly, but OBS is running at low frame rates.  I have it set to Nvenc and don't use my CPU.  But what is weird is that my old 1070ti would have a much easier time encoding the video.  Does anyone know what I should do?

 

Specs:

i5 9400f 2.9 ghz

24 gigs of ram

rtx 2080

ASRock B360M Pro4 

250 gigs of ssd

1tb of hdd

Rtx 2080 Ftw3 Ultra

Cap your FPS or lower the quality settings in Warzone.

Yeah but why is the rtx 2080 having a tougher time then the 1070ti

No clue. Is your GPU usage at 100%? If so that's the cause of the poor encoding.
