So a few years ago i bought a nintendo switch, and when skyrim came out on i almost immediately bought it because of all of the good things that i had heard about it, and it was my entire life for a whole summer, and like 4 months into the school year. now that i'm switching to pc, i want to experience it again at 144hz but i really don't want to buy it again, is it worth the $40, <removed by staff>

By default Skyrim plays at 60fps and to get 144fps (or really anything above 60fps) you need to edit certain ini files. So don't expect an easy experience with just installing the game and getting 144fps.

I have played Skyrim way too much and have indeed 'bought it a second time', when I switched from PS3 to PC. It was quite worth it over the years, because I have played it a couple hundred hours since.

Plus all the modding was pretty fun too, creates a whole new experience.

I believe it is currently on sale on Steam for $16 USD.

I would say the PC experience would be different to that of the switch, mainly because you can add a heap of mods and end up changing quite a bit. It's a pretty good game and one that I come back to every few years so I personally wouldn't hesitate buying it for PC.
