New keyboard and mouse on an extreme budget

penguin8967

I'm doing a little renovation on my setup, and I need a new keyboard and mouse (mousepad already sorted).

I really don't have much to spend though, probably around £50-60.

My requirements are as follows:

  • RGB, but the ability for it to all stay on a single colour as well
  • Arrow keys
  • Not super-loud

If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated! 😀

Doesn't need to be mechanical either.

ps I am in the UK, have a look on amazon.co.uk instead lol

Intel i5-9500, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, 1x 120mm Fan.

Upgrading soon to an ITX GTX 1650 (4GB).

For the mouse, I would recommend the Logitech G203 Lightsync or the Logitech G203 Prodigy if that's cheaper:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07W5JKFQC/ref=twister_B087D9CPCG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

For the keyboard, I would recommend this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Game-Max-Mechanical-Anti-Ghosting-Multimedia/dp/B07NC2JNYS/ref=sr_1_216?dchild=1&keywords=RGB+keyboard&qid=1594138506&s=computers&sr=1-216

Especially for gaming on a limited budget, a good gaming mouse is typically far more important than a keyboard, and if you're really limited on budget then pretty much any regular office keyboard will do.

The keyboards linked by @Oswin are good options for a budget mechanical keyboard, although they either don't have any LED backlighting or just a plain static color backlight that can't be changed, to be fair that's pretty much expected for a mechanical keyboard at this price point, although if you really want a mechanical keyboard with RGB lighting, take a look at these options:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rii-Mechanical-Keyboard-Backlight-Keyboards/dp/B07FJL4KZN/ref=sr_1_56?dchild=1&keywords=mechanical+rgb+keyboard&qid=1594140416&s=computers&sr=1-56

These are some of the other RGB keyboards available, although they aren't truly mechanical (they are simulated mechanical switches):

mechanical feeling keyboards are just hyped up membranes, idk what switch the Rii keyboard uses but would still choose it over a membrane especially at that low price.

Thank you for all your help! It's not specifically for gaming really (I rarely game and never competitively), just for casual use really.
