This are great WI-FI speeds for a home network and should be more than enough for the average household, although for a more specific answer please mention what speeds you paying for to your ISP, and what networking equipment you are using (model and manufacturer of modem, router, switch, etc).

It's perfectly fine. 

Not sure what exactly you mean by acceptable. That would come down to what router you have, and what internet package you pay for.

 

For example, I have Internet 600 and my wifi adapter gets me:

406 down

20 up

10ms ping

Not necessarily. Ping tells distance to server. If OP does same test to same server with ethernet and gets better ping, then it's because of wifi.

Bad for what? It also depends on your actual bandwidth coming fro your ISP. If you only have a 10MBps pipe, your WiFi speeds are just fine, as you're not going any faster anyways. If you've got a 1GBps pipe, they *really* suck, because you're leaving 99% of the bandwidth on the floor.
