iPhone 7 data stall

It seems like my phone cannot download data unless I swipe up the control center and it continues the process as normal. The other bizarre case is when I am in Discord and it stalls, not only I can bring the control center up, I tap on a user's profile and it fixes for some reason... Any clue? Searching on Google does not give relevant issue to my case. This is on my WiFi
