Prebuilt not posting

If it's not posting, to be honest I would just talk to the company he got it from, no use trying to fix something they should be legally obligated to fix (if those laws exist in your country).

Hi all,

A family of mine bought his son a prebuilt PC, but since arrival, it does not post. I tried troubleshooting, but I cannot find what the issue is.

All fans spin including case fans, CPU cooler, and GPU. I get no display signal when I turn on the PC and I've tried connecting an HDMI to both MOBO and GPU outputs.

I have tried the following:

-reseating RAM & Changing slots (it's only a 1x 4GB stick)
-reseating all power cables (CPU + MOBO)
-reseating GPU
-Checking all connections
-Clearing CMOS by removing battery
-Changing monitor & cable

CPU: No Idea
Cooler: darkFlash Shadow?
Mobo: Some B75M MOBO (LGA 1155 socket) - There's no branding and the included QRcode leads to a Google search with "results not found" page.
RAM: 1x
MICRON MT16JTF51264AZ-1G6M1 4GB

PSU: Gamdias Kratos | M1 550 bronze
GPU: XFX 570 BLK Edition

I do not know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated!

I’d suggest you figure out what cpu is in it.

|| CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x @ 4.2GHz 1.4v || CPU Cooling: Wraith Prism (Upgrade to 212 Black Pending) || Motherboard: B450 Tomahawk MAX || RAM: C-DIE LPX @ 3266MHz 15-17-17-20 1.45v slightly tuned subs || Storage1x MX500 500GB 1x WD Blue 1TB 5400RPM || GPU: Gaming OC 5700XT @ 2010 Core // 1800 Mem || Case: H510 Matte Black || PSU: RM550x || Monitors: 2x KG281K || Keyboard: Tecknet Wired Membrane || Mouse: Tecknet Wired Mouse || Headphones: Platinum Wireless || Mic: Inbuilt (Upgrade to Yeti Nano Pending) || Console: PS4 Pro 1TB || Phone: iPhone X || Earphones: AirPods Pro || Watch: Apple Watch Series 2

My words of advice:

Don't buy Cherry Browns.

Don't play Overwatch. I've hate the game yet I play it every day.

Wireless > Lighter Mice

Silence > Temps for Coolers

Get a good PSU

I'll give that a shot. From what his dad told me, when he first got it, it did post. He then added an HDD from his old PC, and hasn't posted ever since. Maybe he fried something?

Interesting, I don't really see how a hard drive could fry it though unless he plugged it in incorrectly

Well, thanks for your answers... I'll just give the company a call and see what happens from there.
