Msi board not posting or giving errors?

So I have an msi x470 m7 ac and I just made a post about how I basically fucked it and the cpu. But after reading the manual I'm now more confused. It has ez debug leds that should light up if a specific component is broken. If I dont install a cpu the CPU led lights up. If I install my CPU the light doesnt come on to say it's broken but the system also doesnt post. Wtf is happening

The board was bought used and the seller claims they were using a 3800x and had updated the bios

Can you maybe check again ?

Maybe ask a computer store to update the bios for you

Or check which one it has.

Mentioned within the other post but I put too much paste on and it seeped out onto the board and CPU, from what I can tell I cleaned it off

What other specs do you have ?

Also most paste is not conductive so it shouldn't affect anything.
