MSI vs Asrock b450m motherboard

One of my friend gonna buy 3500x , but he is confused between

MSI B450m pro VDH max vs ASROCK B450M PRO4-F. 

 

He's gonna overclock the cpu to 4ghz with 3200mhz 8*2GB RAM .

They're similar for overclocking. I'd look for a B450-A Pro Max instead personally.

Also, manual overclocking on Zen 2 really isn't the best way to go about getting the most out of these chips. You're generally better off just turning PBO on and letting it do its thing.

I love the Pro4, tough I am suspecting MSI have the better BIOS.

If the MSI boards have equally good BIOS as they have on the MSI 970 Gaming I have now then its slightly better than ASRock but the ASRock one isnt un-usable by any means just harder to navigate. :)

The MSI board aint made for OC ..  I rater shitty .. 

R3 3300x cant run 4.3ghz  on it with 3200mhz ram .. Works fine on  another better MB (x570)

X570 is expensive, is Asrock pro4 okay with OC. ?

Dont know the asrock .. But know the MSI board .. My 3300x runs on it .. But  i have orderd  B550 bazooka for it
