Pioneer receiver /Apple TV Connectivity Issue

Hello, I have a Pioneer Elite SC-95 receiver and two Apple TV's. My receiver has two zones. Zone 1 plays in my living room and Zone 2 plays to my outdoor speakers. I have one Apple TV connected to the DVD HDMI input on my receiver and my cable box connected to the cable/SAT HDMI input on the receiver. I can connect through Airplay to my receiver and play Pandora or my Apple tunes to both Zone 1 and Zone 2 simultaneously. 

Issue 1: I cannot play either my cable channel sound nor my Apple TV sound to Zone 2 regardless of which Zone 2 source I select. How can I get my Apple TV sound to play in Zone 2?
