Worth waiting for a Ryzen 4000 Laptop?

Hi all - 

 

I've made a couple threads in the past about buying a Ryzen 4000 gaming laptop because of the value, but wait times are to the point where it will take weeks to order and weeks to ship. So I'm looking at local deals in the area around me for around $1000. 

 

Came across this deal from my local micro center for a Maingear Vector laptop. Has good reviews compared to the Lenovo Legion Y570 and other laptops in its class, currently open box for around $1k. Is this a deal?

The battery life on that intel model will be way worse, but if you dont care about such things, it is an okay laptop.

What are the screen specs? If it doesn’t mention them I would be thinking 60hz...

It's a 144hz IPS covering 95% of sRGB color space. Pretty decent.
