How to download on github - JNSoundboard

You gonna need visual studio since its c#. Make sure to install requirements of the project with VS. Rest is easy.

ok so i downloaded the naudio thing and extracted it and tried to run it in visual studio because it didnt say 'open in visual studio' and it gave me this

 

i dont understand how i do this.

 

also after this it gives me a prompt to download 20gb worth of stuff do i actually need all that to run a simple 5mb soundboard?

It's not a soundboard. It the source code of a soundboard. So if you want to compile it yourself, you'll have to install its development dependencies.

 

If all you need is a soundboard, I'd suggest finding a binary version somewhere, rather than a GitHub project that hasn't been touched in four years? Based on its age and the error message you got, I assume you need an older version of Visual Studio (e.g. 2017 or 2015): https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/older-downloads/
