Why do I lag like hell in fortnite with such a config...?

All of those are Intel, 4-core, 3.6Mhz

Only thing the 9100F wins in this line up is value/price - certainly NOT performance.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

Yes I mean the RX750. I posted a screen, there is its name.
How do I check if there is throttling ?

image.png.33fa9e9f1cadadd5115c78e8058fa916.png

is your keyboard malfunctioning? lol.

the GPU will throttle at 85c, you should monitor the temp.

default radeon fan config may not be enough for this, you should manually tune it. like my picture above.

I know many i5 and i7 are better than this i3.

But this i3 has to be compared to an i5 running at 2.8GHz , the recommanded requirement.

will you cut it out please...

i3, i5, i7 is just a name, it's a marketing segmentation, no relations to performance!

please update your knowledge.

Obviously over heated!

it should not be above 80c to maintain stable performance.

Hi,

- 8 Go ram
- i3-9100F
- Radeon Rx570, 4Go , gddr5 1750 mhz
- Installed on a SSD

I'm above the required system

What kind of lag. Input lag, connection lag?

Input lag is sometimes perceived as low frame rate, since games that aren't programmed well peg only one CPU thread for the input polling and netcode. So the end result is that sometimes the game's own framerate is also pegged to the netcode loop.

Network lag is different from framerate-induced lag. Considering the game's requirements are basically the exact specs of a mid-high tier 2012 machine, I don't see why a newer machine would have problems with it.

Some kind of freeze, warp,  and also fps drops.

It happens a lot when many players are "building".

Yes, but not that much. You clearly have low fan speed.

image.png.19451a79972e78d72913ecddb58542a5.png

Fan speed should be around 3000rpm at that 85c.

Adjust your fan curve like the picture i posted.

I don't care about the noise since I use headphones.

Will it be ok?

That sounds like network latency. Try running a ping test in the background while you play to the server you're connected to see what the latency level is.

500ms = dialup latency and gameplay will be garbage

200ms = "reasonable" latency for cross-continent play, unreasonable for local play

20ms = ideal latency, but typically limited to about 500 miles from the server

2ms = the server is in your home.

To get proper 60fps play, assuming the server works like most MMO games, the server should send update position packets every 80-250ms like a clock ticking, but every action in the game should be sent immediately.

If at any point you disabled nagle, or applied the "leatrix fix" (which does the same thing) you might need to check if it's been tweaked towards better latency or higher download speed, as "fixes" for higher download speed always result in worse latency for games.

hes saying that its faster than an i5 6600k im not sure which i5 fortnite is referring to but its not that intensive of a game so a quad core should be enough

if OP is comparing different generations then it make sense.

if it's 1 stick of 8gb ram it can definitely lag, on top of the overheating throttling clocks.
