Seasonic FOCUS PLUS GOLD series have a really bad reputation when used with HIGH-END graphics cards.

I would recommend you this one:

I wouldn't get the Focus FX. My recommendations would be the Corsair RM550x and be quiet! Straight Power 11 550W.

A couple of good options out of Seasonic's lineup would be the Focus PX and Prime Platinum.

Also, have you already got those parts..? The 9900K, Z390 board, GTX 1080 and all that.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

The NEW seasonic GX And PX series have fixed the issue with high end videos cards (hence why they’re not greyed out on the psu tier list) it’s weird his amazon listing says focus PLUS but clearly in the pictures thats a focus GX which is the updated version that no longer has issues.

Well, I still wouldn't want to risk it, that is why I recommended the Straight Power 11 650W.

The focus gx and px are great models. The focus plus not so much, for as others have said it had issues with high end cards. That being said seasonic fixed its issue with the new release gx and px series (like on the amazon picture) seasonic support has always been top tier with me. Never have had to wait longer than 24 hours for a response and have had them reply as little as 45 minutes lol. According to the tier list that’s an A Rated power supply (focus gx). Like matey said the rmx is also a very nice choice
