Only prices I'm seeing are $1500+. Not worth it at that price. For $100, you can get a brand new LG CX 55". Superior TV in virtually every way.

I heard the CX is actually a downgrade well at least for gaming  wise and the C9 is better. That might be a reason why they still are so much. Plus the 9 models apparently have Gsync on them

CX has GSYNC, VRR, and Freesync, BFI 120hz, and a host of other gaming features.

CX actually has better picture processing than the B9 or C9 especially on upscaling to 4k, but most people seem to gloss over that. Yes, the B9/C9 has full HDMI 2.1 48Gbps and the CX "only" has 40Gbps, so the B9/C9 can do 4k/120 4:4:4 at 12-bit, while the CX can "only" do 4k/120 4:4:4 at 10-bit.

Bear in mind, 10-bit color is designed for HDR1000, while 12-bit color is designed for HDR10000 (that's ten thousand). 1000 nits of brightness is very bright. 10,000 nits of brightness is blinding, and no commercially available TV can hit this brightness level.

The C9/CX have a peak brightness of roughly 700-nits, and the B9 hits around 450-nits, so if we do the math... 4k/120 4:4:4 at 10-bit is more than enough to push the B9, C9, or CX to its full potential. 12-bit, while nice, is complete and utter overkill.

So, to recap, the LG CX is an upgrade over the B9/C9. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

OK....

I didn't ask this question before as I only put in a cheap model of a QLED.  I have to decide between these 2 TV's

An LG C9 (for 1500)

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-55-class-oled-c9pua-series-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr/6338498.p?skuId=6338498

Or a Samsung Q80T for 1200

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-55-class-qled-q80-series-4k-uhd-tv-smart-led-with-hdr/6402394.p?skuId=6402394&ref=212&loc=1

Now is their a Huge difference between these 2 now? Now that I chose a much more expensive QLED model. Is there a real notable difference between the 2 in picture quality?
