Yup, works fine for me on all games on my PC.

Keep in mind your PC also needs to have bluetooth, otherwise you need to get a wireless adapter with it

Yeah, Steam has great controller support in of itself, but it’s all gonna be game-dependent.

You can use an Xbox One controller on a PC using a Micro-USB cable, via an Xbox One Controller Receiver (the ones they made for the pre-One S controllers) or via Bluetooth, if applicable.

You can also get a wire plug if you have the port.

Would always suggest getting the dongle, you can’t use 2 over Bluetooth.

A USB Bluetooth adapter or the XBOX Wireless USB adapter?

The answer to both would be yes, but with the bluetooth adapter you can only connect one controller, with the official wireless adapter you can connect multiple  controllers.

yup.

(you can even use up to 8 controllers :P )

Of course provided the game you're playing supports multiple controllers  (like a platformer game where you can friends can play on the same PC at the same time).
